The "work from home" rebate is available to millions of Brits across the country, even if you've done it once.It was designed to cover the extra costs associated with doing your job from home, like heating and broadband.However, people cannot claim for money if they choose to work from home, only if you've been told to by your employer.Bosses are allowed to pay £6 a week extra – tax free – to cover any home-working expenses during the lockdowns.

It is believed, applicants have until the end of the tax year, April 5, to file for this year's relief, reports the Mirror. People who are eligible can claim relief based on the rate in which they pay tax.
