Mikel Arteta has responded to Arsene Wenger after he defended Mesut Ozil. The legendary manager said the German is being 'wasted' at Arsenal, where he has not played this season.
Ozil has been left out of the club's Europa League squad and reports have emerged that the same fate awaits him for the Premier League squad as well.
It is a dramatic decline for the playmaker, who was hailed as a game-changing signing when he joined in 2013. And the man that signed him, Wenger, has bemoaned Ozil's ostracisation from the squad.
