Hereditary, you’ll know that some traumatising images are now permanently seared in your mind. And Ari Aster, the man behind the devil’s work/cinematic genius, has now teased his latest project.
The director said his next film is going to be a four-hour long ‘nightmare comedy’ and we’re already terrified. ‘All I know is that it’s gonna be four hours long, [and rated] over 17 [years of age],’ Ari told UC Santa Barbara’s Associated Students Program Board.He added that it will be a ‘zonky nightmare comedy’ – although this is the man who described Midsommar as an ‘apocalyptic break-up movie’ so, anything goes basically.
