An inquest into the the death of Mick Norcross heard the former The Only Way Is Essex cast member told his partner he didn't think he could get through his investment troubles the night before he tragically took his own life.
The inquest heard how Mick had been "under pressure" due to some property developments he was involved in, including one under construction near his home.
Essex Police Inspector Armstrong said: "This was two years over schedule and lots of costs incurred. One bank loan of 1.36million and bridging loan secured against main residency and another £1 million needed to finish one of developments." Kirk had reported his father being "under pressure".
