Michael Jordan has spoken about the time he had to drag Dennis Rodman out of a Las Vegas hotel and back to the Chicago Bulls.
Jordan and Rodman were team-mates at the Bulls and helped the franchise to three successive NBA Championships during the Nineties.
Having already won back-to-back titles, the 1997/98 season saw Rodman step up with Scottie Pippen out injured for the first 35 games.
However Rodman lost his way, asking coach Phil Jackson for a mid-season holiday, though it turned out to be a bit crazier than just a break. “I say, ‘Look Phil, let me tell you something man, if anybody needs a f***ing vacation, I need a vacation’,” Jordan says in The Last Dance. “We look at Dennis and say, ‘Dennis, what are you going to do?’ He says,
