Michael J. Fox‘s mom, Phyllis Fox, has sadly passed away at the age of 92. The 61-year-old actor shared the somber news during his appearance at the 2022 New York Comic Con over the weekend, where he reunited with his Back to The Future co-star, Christopher Lloyd.

According to her online obituary, Phyllis passed away peacefully during her sleep at the end of September. It also asks that donations be made in Phyllis‘ name to an array of causes, including diabetes, Parkinson’s, the Burnaby General Hospital, the BC Children’s Hospital and Canuck Place, in lieu of flowers.
