However, this does not necessarily mean we will see snow."The Met Office long range forecast reads: "Unsettled conditions continue to dominate throughout this period, with showers or longer spells of rain, potentially heavy, for much of the UK."The heaviest and most persistent of the rain is likely in the south to begin with, and then in the west.
