Mesut Ozil is edging closer to the Arsenal exit door after more than seven years in north London. The German's signing was a major coup for the Gunners back in 2013 and he was initially a star at the Emirates.
His ability to create for his team-mates made him a vital asset and Arsenal managed to end their trophy drought the year he arrived.
The Gunners challenged Leicester for the title in 2015/16 with Ozil playing a crucial role and he became the fastest player in Premier League history to record 50 assists.
Since Arsene Wenger's departure though things have quickly unravalled. Ozil was a favourite under the Frenchman and the Gunners hierarchy tied him down to a lucrative contract worth £350,000-a-week in Wenger's final year.
