Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins became national treasures hosting The Great British Bake Off - but collapsed like an underbaked cake.
The comedy duo fronted the baking competition from it's first episode in 2010 and became famous for their 'soggy bottom' and 'hot baps' innuendos.
It wasn't the first time the pair had worked together, having met as students at Cambridge University more than 30 years ago and performing on stage together at Edinburgh's Fringe Festival.
Then they got their big break writing for French and Saunders - with the occasional screen appearance, before fronting their own show, Late Lunch, on Channel 4.
