People watching the teaser clips of Meghan Markle's tell-all Oprah Winfrey chat think the Duchess was inspired by Wallis Simpson.
After videos of the Duke and Duchess's interview with the famous American TV host were released ahead of its screening on Sunday, some drew comparisons between her chosen glamorous look and that of fellow American, Wallis.
Meghan, 39, chose a $4,700 (£3,400) black Armani dress, belted above her stomach and featuring floral embroidery over one shoulder.
With her hair parted and pulled into a neat bun, the pregnant Duchess's chosen look was strikingly similar to one Wallis wore in a 1936 portrait - the same year King Edward VIII abdicated to marry her.
