The Duchess of Cambridge was left "very upset" by Meghan Markle after a "foot-stamping" row at Kensington Palace, an expert has claimed.

Author Tom Quinn says Meghan's frustration at having to live in Nottingham Cottage, one of the smallest properties in the palace, while the Cambridges lived at Apartment 1A - which is huge - caused tensions behind the scenes.

He speaks of one incident, which he's heard about from a source inside the palace, where Meghan "lost it" with one of Kate's employees.
