Meghan Markle has come under fire for choosing to fly to Texas to appear at a memorial for the Uvalde school shooting, rather than visit her sick dad.The Duchess, 40, placed a bouquet of white roses at the memorial outside of Robb Primary School where 21 people including 19 children were gunned down.Just two hours away, her dad Thomas, 77, was laid in a hospital bed after suffering a major stroke.Meghan's older sister Samantha has also revealed that Thomas's condition has left him unable to speak but his youngest daughter, Meghan, has made no contact with him.Speaking about the news, Meghan's former pal Lizzie Cundy, 54, exclusively told Daily Star: "I think it's really sad that Meghan couldn't go and see her father when she was just a couple of hours away."Whatever happens, all families have problems but when something like that happens, you go to their side, whatever, it's blood – it's family."He did bring her up, I think it's very sad that she can be having a photo opportunity at the school shooting when only two hours down the road is her father."The television presenter continued: "I find it in my eyes and in many others, it's the wrong thing to do."Could she not take a leaf out of the Queen's book and see how one should behave, as to not visit her father, at the end of the day, he's had a major stroke."Could she not find it in her heart to just forgive him and go and see him?
