Eagle-eyed fans are convinced Meghan Markle was "hinting" at her baby's gender after she wore a giant sustainable sapphire in her first appearance since quitting the royal family.

The Duchess of Sussex was spotted with the enormous £862 pink cocktail ring on her finger in the promotional video for her and Prince Harry's new Archewell Audio podcast.

The 20-second clip, filmed in the couple's £11 million Santa Barbara mansion, was their first public appearance since they were officially stripped of their titles last week.

Royal watchers were quick to praise Meghan's eco-friendly fashion choice made from ethically sourced pave diamonds and 100 per cent recycled gold.
