Meghan Markle will never return to the UK as she thinks winning over the public is a 'lost cause', according to an author of royal biographies.The Duchess of Sussex has not visited Britain since quitting the Royal Family and moving to Montecito, California, in 2020.This is despite her husband Prince Harry visiting his home country twice in the same period, including once for the unveiling of a statue of mum Princess Diana last year.The couple's eight-month-old daughter Lilibet, who is eighth in line to the throne, has never visited the United Kingdom and was born in California.Ahead of his new book on Meghan, royal biographer and investigative journalist Tom Bower has now claimed that she doesn't want to come back to London and "doesn't care" if she is welcome in the country.He told The Sun: "At the moment, Meghan’s ultimate destination is unclear, but she certainly has the backing to make a bid to star as an American politician.
