Britain's oldest butcher has continued to work through the coronavirus pandemic at the golden age of 88. Marion Voyce remains undefeated by Covid-19 as she continues to serve customers six days a week at the FC Voyce butcher's shop.

The pensioner, from Cinderford, Gloucestershire, insisted "people need food" and said she did not want to let her customers down, some who have been regulars for four decades.

Working full-time, Marion arrives early three days a week to collect the 7am deliveries while Mondays are dedicated to cleaning.

The pensioner shows no sign of leaving the Forest of Dean butcher's shop where she has worked for 50 years, including 20 years on her own since the death of her husband Lionel, aged 87.
