justjared.comThe Sarasota County medical examiner’s office and a cadaver dog have been dispatched to a Florida park after authorities found several items belonging to Brian Laundrie, CNN is reporting. Laundrie is a person of interest in the case of the death of Gabby Petito.
After a “brief search” off a trail where he often spent time, the family and law enforcement found “some articles” that seemingly belonged to him.
A search has now commenced. Earlier this month, 22-year-old Gabby went missing while on vacation with Laundrie.
The public’s interest in the case rose as she went viral on TikTok during her disappearance. On Sunday (September 19), officials discovered human remains consistent with Gabby‘s description.
