dad has been "banned" from a McDonald's branch after he refused to move from a drive-thru in a dramatic two-hour standoff that saw police called in.

Stuart Yates, 55, blocked hungry drivers at the restaurant in Leyland, Lancashire, after he rejected worker's request for him to park up and wait for two McMuffins yesterday (Sunday, May 22).The father-of-two refused to move his Ford from "Window 3" because he didn't want to endure another lengthy delay for his food like he reportedly did for 20 minutes the week before. The row escalated after Stuart demanded a refund for his two double sausage and egg McMuffins which he had purchased for his son and his friend.

His one-man protest soon reached global attention, but the dad says he has since been dished a scathing letter from the branch, which was delivered to him by a police officer.

Stuart believes the letter detailed how he has been banned from the branch even though he didn't read it, reports The Sun."The policeman had a big letter with a list of complaints about me," he explained."I didn't read it, I told the policeman I wasn't taking it.
