McDonald's announced earlier this year that they would be increasing the prices of many of the items on their menu by between 10p and 20p due to inflation.But tomorrow (October 17), fans of the fast food chain will be able to grab a mega discount on two of the chain’s most popular dishes. Fast food enthusiasts can choose from three delicious breakfast fillings including sausage and egg, bacon and egg, or egg and cheese.Or if you’re more in the mood for lunch then after 11 am you can order purchase the famous Quarter Pounder with cheese for only £1.49 - saving a whopping £2.40.The discount is available exclusively for customers via the McDonald’s App and is on offer for one day only.Diners can collect points when they purchase one of these deals by opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.The brand-new scheme means every penny spent equals one point, so this week’s offers will get you 119 points when ordering a single McMuffin or 149 points when picking up a Quarter Pounder with cheese.Once frequent visitors have earned 1,500 points they can choose between menu items including small Fries, a Hash Brown, or a Side Salad.With 2,500 points, a Double Cheeseburger or Vegetable Deluxe is on the cards.Finally, with 4,000 points, customers can choose between menu favourites like 6 Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac.Or you can donate the cash equivalent to charity.McDonald’s breakfast is available from 5 am-11 am, and McDonald’s lunchtime menu is available from 11 am daily.READ NEXT:.
