Maurcio Pochettino has "really good ties with PSG" and would find the prospect of managing them "very attractive", according to reports.
The news will come as a blow to Manchester United and Real Madrid, both of whom have been heavily linked with the former Tottenham boss over the last year.
Pochettino has been out of work since he was sacked by Spurs in November 2019 but said last month he was "ready to go again" in a new role.
During his playing days as a centre-back, Pochettino spent two-and-a-half seasons with PSG, making 95 appearances for the club and wearing the armband in the 2002/03 season.
