FANS of The One Show have been left in shock as Matt Lucas appeared as a guest on the iconic red sofa last night. Viewers were left distracted by the comedian's incredible weight loss as he sat down to discuss his time on Who Do You Think You Are.

Matt, 48, sat down with show hosts Jermaine Jenas and Lauren Laverne alongside his mum Diana to discuss his upcoming TV show.

The mother and son duo discussed their Jewish heritage and their roots in Germany, discovered on the BBC programme. During the interview, Matt was seen in a preview clip from the show finding out about his ancestors, who lived with Otto Frank's family.
