Matt Hancock is reportedly set to land a bumper pay cheque of £400,000 for 'I'm a Celebrity. . . Get Me Out of Here!'. The former Tory MP will join the likes of Noel Edmonds, Caitlyn Jenner, Harry Redknapp, and his soon-to-be campmate Boy George, as the highest-paid contestants on the ITV reality show.
A source told The Sun: “Matt's pay deal with 'I'm a Celebrity' is around £400,000". [It is] one of the largest ever show fees to have been paid out. " Noel was paid a whopping £600,000 for his stint, despite being the first celebrity to leave the series when he was voted out in 2018.
The ex-Health Secretary - who has come under scrutiny for taking part in the celebrity show - has insisted he will donate some of his fee to charities.
A spokesperson for Matt told the newspaper: “Matt will be making a donation to St Nicholas Hospice in Suffolk and causes supporting dyslexia off the back of his appearance.
