Matalan's Alder Hey pyjamas launched with colourful family design to support charity

This year's Matalan x Alder Hey campaign has officially dropped, meaning shoppers can get a good look at this year's colourful pyjamas that are going on sale.It marks the high-street fashion chain's ninth partnership with the Liverpool based children's charity and it includes a range of PJ's for the whole family - and there's even a set for your pet.The collaboration regularly proves incredibly popular with families across the country - especially in the build up to the festive period.

Celebrities such as Alesha Dixon, Mark Wright and Denise Van Outen have also supported the campaign in previous years. Featuring a bold and eye-catching rainbow stripe design on sleeves and bottoms, families can pick up unisex PJ's for adults, children, infants and even pets.

All proceeds from the Matalan x Alder Hey 2022 campaign will be donated towards Alder Hey Children’s Hospital Charity to continue supporting their Surgical Neonatal Appeal, reports The Liverpool Echo.Children across the UK were given the opportunity to help design and inspire the 2022 pyjama set, with the winner being seven year-old Maiya Ariss-Johnson, from Bootle.

Her uplifting design also features Alder Hey mascot ‘Oli The Elephant'.Some of the 2022 charity ambassadors for the campaign include four-month-old Frankie and family, five-month-old Niamh and family and Charlie, aged two, and family, who have all been treated and cared for by the amazing clinicians and staff at Alder Hey.
