Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United star Anthony Martial ignored boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before he was taken off against Newcastle on Sunday, it has been claimed.
Martial had another disappointing game in front of goal at Old Trafford and was taken off during the second half. The Frenchman has scored just four times in the Premier League this season from 20 appearances - with two of those goals coming in the 9-0 win over Southampton at the start of the month.
Despite Edinson Cavani's recent good form, Martial was favoured to start through the middle against Newcastle, with Daniel James on his right and Marcus Rashford on the left.
