TWO grooms will be missing from Married At First Sight UK's explosive Christmas reunion. George Roberts and Matt Murray, both of who starred in the recent regular series reunion, aren't playing a part in the festive special.
A show source confirmed that neither will be in the line-up and casting will be revealed in due course. Matt was so desperate to escape the get together that he jetted away on holiday with former Mafs star Marilyse Corrigan.
A source said: "Matt has gone to recover from the trauma of the show, as you’ll have seen on Tuesday night it’s taken a toll on his emotional wellbeing. "Marilyse knows oh too well how the public reaction can impact the mental health of the men on the show as she saw how it impacted Franky, so she’s being nothing more than a supportive friend to him." Dad-of-four George was partnered with April Banbury on the show.
He made headlines while the series aired after being arrested over allegations of harassment and coercive control in previous relationships.
