Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg has spoken out about being accused by Chelsea of racially abusing John Obi Mikel and Juan Mata back in 2012 - and claimed the former was "swinging for him" while shouting "I’ll break your legs".

The incident occurred during a clash at Stamford Bridge against Manchester United in which Chelsea lost 3-2 after a 75th minute goal from Javier Hernandez from an offside position which Clattenburg missed.
