Manchester United youngster lauded as 'fantastic' after winning Hull City award on loan

Di’Shon Bernard has been voted Hull City’s player of the month for October on the back of a string of fine performances. The Manchester United defender is spending the 2021-22 season on loan in the Championship.

And although Hull are enduring a tough season, with the team currently 22nd in the league, Bernard’s performances have impressed fans on social media, with a tweet asking for supporters to vote for their player of the month.

The 21-year-old beat goalkeeper Matt Ingram, defender Callum Elder and midfielder Richard Smallwood to the award. Bernard played every minute of Hull’s six games in the month of October and was especially good in the 2-0 win over Middlesbrough on October 2.
