Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Garth Crooks believes former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson would have to be at the very top of his game to get the best from the current squad.
United, who will resume their Champions League campaign at home to Atalanta on Wednesday evening, suffered a second defeat in their last three Premier League outings on Saturday, losing 4-2 to Leicester at the King Power Stadium.
United got level when Marcus Rashford stepped off the bench to net an 82nd minute strike to make it 2-2, but collapsed just 15 seconds after the restart, watching Jamie Vardy crash home a third for the Foxes, before the hosts made the game safe in stoppage —time, making it 4-2 through summer signing Patson Daka.
