Manchester United star Jesse Lingard has revealed his delight at being back in the England fold after missing out on Euro 2020.
The 28-year-old was widely tipped to make Gareth Southgate’s squad for the tournament, after an impressive run of form whilst on loan at West Ham last season.
However, despite scoring nine goals in 16 appearances for the Hammers and featuring in squads before the tournament he ultimately missed out.
Lingard received a recall to the England squad last month, and was also selected for the recent World Cup qualifiers and the United star revealed his delight at being involved again. "To be able to ring my family and tell them that I had gotten the call-up again for the internationals in September was a huge feeling,"
