The Manchester Evening News understands Henderson has been selected ahead of David de Gea outright for the first time in the Premier League.
Henderson's expected inclusion will see him widely recognised as United's new first-choice goalkeeper. Henderson, 24, is due to become United's first academy-bred No.1 since Gary Walsh in August 1987.
England international Henderson has started in United's last six games - four of them in the absence of De Gea, who was on paternity leave in Spain.
