The Portuguese superstar scored twice to help United come from behind to seal an important three points, and in doing so became the first player in history to score 801 top-level goals.
Despite his prolific form since returning to Old Trafford during the summer, Ronaldo has been a somewhat polarising figure. Some pundits have criticised his unwillingness to press and work hard when United are out of possession, citing their disappointing season thus far as proof that despite the goals his presence is detrimental to the team.
