The Wolves midfielder has been linked with a move to the Gunners this summer with the Midlands club setting the asking price at £35million.

However, United are now ‘ahead’ of their London rivals for the 24-year-old’s signature according to talkSPORT. Neves has been a vital part of the Old Gold’s squad over the last four seasons, making over 175 appearances during that period.

The arrival of the midfielder would be an interesting one considering Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plan to change to a 4-3-3 formation next season.
