The MEN revealed Cavani, Maguire, Greenwood, Eric Bailly and Jesse Lingard were not among the travelling squad that flew from Manchester Airport on Monday afternoon.
Cavani, 33, has not played since March 11 and the United deadline day signing only began training with his new teammates on Sunday after quarantining for two weeks.Maguire was a doubt ahead of the trip to Newcastle on Saturday night but started and equalised in United's 4-1 victory.
