Manchester United have confirmed they will refund ticket costs for supporters who had planned to watch them away at LASK. The first leg of the Europa League tie between United and the Austrian side, set for Thursday night, will now be played behind closed doors due to fears over the spread of coronavirus.
LASK confirmed the game would be played without spectators after a demand from the Austrian government to ban outdoor gatherings of more than 500 people, as authorities look to limit the spread of the illness.
Around 900 United fans were expected to travel to the Linzer Stadion on Thursday for the last 16 first leg, after United beat Club Brugge in the last 32 to set up the tie.
