Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has spoken after the club officially announced the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Club executives made the decision to part ways with Solskjaer after the humiliating 4-1 defeat to Watford on Saturday. Michael Carrick will take over the next few games whilst United look to hire an interim manager until the end of the season.
United had been on a poor run of form, losing five of their last seven Premier League games. The club resisted sacking Solskjaer in the wake of the 5-0 drubbing by Liverpool on October 24, even though they had a six-day gap until their next match at Tottenham.
