A report in The Times states that five of England's 'big six' have already signed up to the new-look European setup, whilst Man City verbally agreed to the changes on Saturday too.
UEFA are set to unveil their new format for the Champions League on Monday, which will include 36 teams and see group matches extend from six fixtures to ten, from 2024.
