Rahman, of Oldham, arranged for people to be hidden inside the base of second-hand sofas and they were then collected and transported from France or Belgium by oblivious 'man with van' drivers.
Preston Crown Court heard between December 2018 and April 2019, he hired six different drivers advertising their services on social media, Manchester Evening News reported.
