The Red Devils are almost making up for lost time having been unable to secure several of their top targets last summer. Jadon Sancho was the man most heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford but Borussia Dortmund dug their heels in and kept hold of the forward.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified several areas that he is keen to strengthen and continues to favour younger players. United are in contention for silverware this term which may further the club's willingness to back Solskjaer in the market.
