While the biggest story of Manchester United’s deadline day was the failure to complete a move for Jadon Sancho, the club did get several deals over the line.
Edinson Cavani has joined on a free transfer, while the Uruguayan’s compatriot Facundo Pellistri has completed a move from Penarol and a deal for Atalanta teenager Amad Diallo has also been agreed, with the youngster set to arrive in January.
United have also sold Chris Smalling to Roma, with the deal going through towards the end of the Italian window, but there could be more comings and goings domestically.
