Manchester United's forgotten star Amad Diallo is currently undergoing a medical in Glasgow, ahead of a six-month loan stint at Scottish champions Rangers.

Diallo, 19, penned a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Red Devils last January after making a £37million switch from Atalanta. But the teenager has featured just once for United this season, in their final Champions League group stage match - a 1-1 draw at home to BSC Young Boys.Having already qualified for the round of 16 as Group F winners, incoming interim manager Ralf Rangnick fielded a second-string side and Diallo was replaced by Shola Shoretire after the hour mark.Unable to break into the first team, the Ivorian will head out on loan in a bid for regular football and there has been plenty of intrigue for his signature.United have knocked back several interested parties, including club legend Wayne Rooney.Man Utd's record goalscorer wanted Diallo at Derby County but the deal was pulled due to the Rams' drained finances.Instead, it is Rangers who have won the race for the youngster and, according to the Daily Mail, Diallo is currently undergoing a medical at Ibrox ahead of his imminent announcement.Do you think Amad Diallo will be a success at Rangers?
