Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.

Manchester United have made two new staffing additions as they look to find the next Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood. As part of the new orders from director of football John Murtough and technical director Darren Fletcher, the Red Devils are expanding their scouting department.

United have a long history of finding unearthed jewels at youth level in England. It has led to some huge success stories over the years, including Paul Scholes, Gary Neville and David Beckham.

In more recent years, Rashford and Greenwood have graduated from the club's academy with flying colours, as well as Paul Pogba - who left before returning from Juventus.
