Manchester United have been fined £7,058 by UEFA for failing to control the crowd in the closing stages of their dramatic win over Villarreal last month.The match ended in jubilant scenes at Old Trafford when Cristiano Ronaldo forced home a 95th-minute winner in front of the Stretford End to make it 2-1.Ronaldo tore off his shirt and celebrated wildly in front of the home supporters - and the club has now been given a slap on the wrist for the scenes that followed.UEFA have ordered United to pay £2,844 (€3,375) after fans threw objects and a further £4,214 (€5,000) for the pitch invasion.United could land themselves in further hot water with the authorities after a pitch invader managed to get to Ronaldo following their 3-2 win over.
