Manchester United have been told they “misjudged” their transfer pursuit of Jadon Sancho this summer though a deal is not dead in the water for the Borussia Dortmund ace.United were heavily linked with a move for the England star though missed a deadline from Dortmund while also being reluctant to pay the £108m fee that the Bundesliga giants wanted.There is still a belief that the Red Devils will go in for Sancho again, either in January or next summer.Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has suggested that United be smarter about their business following a difficult transfer window though has hinted that a deal for Sancho could still be done.Without mentioning United by name, he said: “[They] misjudged the situation.
