Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes (born 8 September 1994) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Primeira Liga club Sporting CP and the Portugal national team as a midfielder. Fernandes started his career at Serie B side Novara Calcio and soon featured for Udinese and Sampdoria in Serie A.

In 2017, he signed with Sporting CP where he established himself as one of the best players in the Primeira Liga. He was named the LPFP Primeira Liga Player of the Year in both 2017–18 and 2018–19. In the latter season, he also helped Sporting win the Taça de Portugal. A senior international since 2017, Fernandes represented Portugal at the 2016 Summer Olympics and 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Manchester United are renowned for their ability to become the official partner for just about any consumer product — and their latest venture into the world of sponsorship left the gate wide open for them to be mocked by their rivals and own fans.As one of the biggest clubs on a global scale in terms of fan membership and revenue, it is no surprise that companies are keen to get their brands advertised at Old Trafford with the world watching.Their attempts to drum up revenue saw the club agree a lucrative 10-year partnership deal with Mlily, a mattress manufacturer, back in May 2018.And the latest advertisement from the company on social media has handed fans the opportunity to openly poke fun at the club and its partner.In a tweet posted on Wednesday, Mlily — defining themselves as a ‘Legend of Comfort’ — took the opportunity to celebrate their partnership with the Red Devils.The tweet read: "Bringing you incredible sleep, with our partners @ManUtd #mufc #redefiningsleep.”That unfortunate wording, coupled with the image of Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Alex Telles — who looked to be on the verge of snoozing himself — attracted the attention of social media users.Man United have been criticised for their dull brand of football since Ralf Rangnick took charge in an interim role in early December and the statistics suggest there could be perhaps more entertainment.HAVE YOUR SAY!
