Manchester United and England are sweating on the fitness of Harry Maguire, with the centre-half set to undergo a scan on Monday.
Maguire was forced off in the latter stages of United’s 3-1 win over Aston Villa on Sunday after a coming together with Anwar El Ghazi.
The win ensured Manchester City will have to wait to claim the Premier League title, but of more pressing concern is Maguire’s injury.
The 28-year-old hasn’t missed a Premier League game since moving to Old Trafford in 2019, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that run would likely end when United travel to Leicester on Tuesday.
