A MAN was taken to hospital after he was said to be seriously assaulted following a “road crash” on a Monklands street on Monday night.Police sealed off Monkland View Crescent shortly before 8pm and a male was subsequently arrested in connection with the alleged disturbance.Officers swooped on the residential area and one witness told the Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser’s sister paper the Daily Record that he heard there was an alleged “rammy”.He added: “The whole area is cordoned off.
