Man swimming in water 'refused to get out' before being arrested at Salford Quays

Local resident Alex Engel spotted police officers in the area near the water at around 3pm yesterday (Wednesday). He said he then saw officers talk to a man 'in the water' who was 'refusing' to get out. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed they arrested a man in the Salford Quays area yesterday. They said the arrest was in relation to a warrant - it was not in relation
