Man rushed to hospital after 'gas explosion' at Scots flat with homes evacuated amid fierce blaze

Local reports suggest a boiler within the home exploded before the flat was engulfed in flames following the blast.Police and fire crews remain at the scene while one man has been taken to St John’s Hospital in Livingston for treatment.
