A homeowner painted ‘Welcome To Hell’ on his house over noise from a new rail station next door. Fed-up Hefin Jones, 53, says it has has ruined his life and he used to enjoy a view of rolling fields and endless peace and quiet.

But he claims all that changed when officials opened the multi-million pound Bow Street station next door. He objected to the plans from the start and says he is now kept awake by noise and PA announcements.

Hefin says his detached home he is a close neighbour to a railway platform, car park, bus stop, an electricity sub-station and cycle racks.
