Man in court over claims he had gun in Scots town and 'threatened to abuse children'

Prosecutors claim that, on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, he broke Section 38(1) of the Criminal Justice and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2010 by his alleged actions.
The charge against him states he "did shout, act in an aggressive manner, repeatedly utter threats of violence and sexual violence towards children, state to them you were in possession of a firearm and gesticulate in a threatening manner".
The 48-year-old faced the allegations when the case against him called at Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday. He made no plea to the single.
