mirror.co.ukA young man forced his way into a woman's home and raped her in front of her hysterical children. John Ward molested the woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, as she was walking the family dog with her kids in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.
She managed to flee the 24-year-old, who was high on cocaine and drunk as he pursued her, Manchester Evening News reported. Ward forced his way into her home, pushed her onto the stairs and covered her mouth with his hand.
He then carried out a series of violent sexual assaults on her. One of the children shouted in vain for Ward to 'get off' their mum after he slammed the living room door on them.
